Just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! to my little family…

BUT Before I do, let me say,

CONGRATULATION NOLA SAINTS ON WINNING THE

SUPERBOWL!!

Last night was quite ELECTRIC in New Orleans with people dancing in the street, fireworks and the repetitious shouting of “WHO DAT” on every tongue!  The Headlines of the Times-Picayune this morning-

AMEN!

After 43 years, Our prayers Are Answered

With faith and perseverance, along with a huge dose of God’s favor and grace, the Saints have “tasted and seen” first-hand that the Lord is Good.  Or to quote our quarterback Drew Brees as he was handed the Lombardi Trophy last night,

“GOD IS GREAT”!!

This Saint will give a shout-out of AMEN to that!

So, back to my original celebratory post planned for today…Just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little family…

I am sort of the odd man (woman) out…Mom, dad, Frank and Eva Anne’s birthday all fall in January and February.  And today is my Daddy’s 75th birthday- OH HAPPY DAY!!

I thank my God every time I think of you…

Mom, always the cheerleader,

Dad, a fountain of sound advice,

Frank, a portrait of loving kindness,

and Eva Anne, courage personified…

I love you deeply.
