Big year- Big day!
Today, I have officially become a “blogger!” Pondering what my first post might be, I realize that 2009 thus far has been quite a big year for me. I turned 50, completed my first book, accompanied my mom on a mother-daughter trip to Paris, and completely redesigned my website.
Me turning 50 was God’s idea, my book, Interior Wisdom, was His idea too. The mother-daughter trip was mom’s idea and my website redesign, well my friend and talented webmaster, Joy Todd, took my ideas and, once again, added her creatively technical expertise to make it all work together for the good. Yes, as I pause and ponder Winter, Spring and Summer, my heart overflows with thanksgiving and I look with an expectant heart at what the Fall might hold.
Although we hear so much negative news at every turn, I believe that God is waiting to meet us at every turn. This fall will hold unprecedented acts of God’s goodness, so let us both look with spiritual eyes and an open heart. I see God’s goodness on the horizon, do you?
